It's been a bad week for celebrities. Farrah Fawcett and that one cool singer dude among other people have died.

However, as a shock to his many many fans, Billy Mays is among the people who have been unfortunate enough to pass away on this cursed week of death.

The goal of this challenge is to create a scene in Garry's Mod paying homage to Billy Mays. How the homage is paid is up to you. Consider this a morbid sequel to the infomercial challenge.

Create a Pose or Scene detecting good-old-fashioned Role-Playing. This is for the campaign to bring back good RP to Garry's Mod (No Gamemode Elitism, Entries Will Be Removed).

Again, this is supposed to Depict Role-Play, not your hate for one gamemode or another. And again, have fun with this challenge.

If you are a bit of an active GMod player, you probably know the map gm_ragdoll_slaughter_v3 by swerik. Since something like it has never been done before, I present you the torture challenge!

As with the previous challenges, simply to keep the challenges interesting, be creative! Nobody wants to see rip off SAW torture scenes with badly posed Mossmans and Kleiners! If you are not one of the creative types, just have a look at the map to come up with some ideas!

It's Garry's Birthday again. It's time for another challenge. Make a scene in Garry's Mod celebrating the birthday of the creator of Garry's Mod (Garry Newman)

As with the previous challenge, your image needs to be something interesting, and a picture of a portal cake in GM_Construct with badly posed characters will not suffice.

Also, this challenge has an interesting twist to it: The creator of the winning image of this challenge gets Gold Membership on the forums (Facepunch)

However, to be eligible for gold membership, you need to put your Facepunch username in the lower left corner of the image. Not following these instructions will get you disqualified from getting the prize.

Ahh, lovers. Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em; a curse and yet a blessing. Both sapping each other's life energy with each other's annoying-ness, yet regenerate their life energy by... sapping something else.

But in some unfortunate relationships, this circle of things degenerates into being a continuous emotional downslide until the couple finally decides to go their separate ways. Whether or not it may have been the couple's fault or someone else's fault, the relationship unfortunately goes downhill. Many of you may have experienced things like these (though some certain people may never have even touched a member of the opposite sex in their lives...)

Even if you're lucky enough to not have experienced things such as these, it'll still be fun to create a breakup scene/couple argument scene in Garry's Mod, as that's the subject of the current challenge.

Basically, create a scene in Garry's Mod where it is quite evident that a couple has quite a bit of friction going between them.

Oh, and if you happen to be a girl, you can create a scene with Boyfriend hatred, unless of course you're into that kind of stuff.

Well, it's been a year since the last Mingeface challenge, and you folks might be just simply dying to break out that Faceposer tool of yours again and create the ultimate facial monstrosity.

Oh, and try to be original with your face pose, it's going to be hard to come up with something that hasn't been done to death already, but if you do find something original, it may end up being very rewarding...

Ahhh, school! Many of you may still be in it, or are (un)lucky enough to have finished school. Your experiences in school may have been negative or positive, but nonetheless it's generally always a place where excitement (like, a fight, a romance, or the school prankster pulling a devious prank on the principal) can occur.

With that in mind, this week's challenge is to create an interesting scene from school in Gmod, from inside, or outside the classroom.

Do you need some school maps for Gmod? Search "school" on Garrysmod.org and you'll see some nice ones.

Computer problems: we all have them. Everything from BSODs fo a Gmod crash, they have an uncanny ability to make our blood boil. And when we get mad at our computers, we have to restrain ourselves from inflicting physical harm upon our computers.

What if you didn't have to restrain yourself? What if you could destroy that computer that failed you in the most fantastic or ridiculous way imaginable?

The goal of this challenge is to create a scene where one or more people do something to damage or outright destroy their computers.

Infomercials. The internet REALLY loves these things. There is no way to overstate this fact. From Facepunch to YouTube to 4chan to Fark to Digg, devoted fans of infomercial stars such as Billy Mays and Vince Offers create "artwork" and videos to show their affection towards these probably overpaid telivision salesmen.

The goal of this challenge is to create a picture in Garry's Mod spoofing an existing infomercial, or advertising your own made up product.

Everyone needs a superhero, even the relatively stupid NPCs inhabiting your Garry's Mod maps! I mean, SOMEBODY needs to save an oblivious citizen from getting hit by a meteor (or something a tad more realistic, like stopping a piano from falling on the poor citizen's head)

The objective of this challenge is to create a superhero scene in Garry's Mod. Be it an over-the-top battle between superhero and supervillain, a superhero stopping a bank robbery, or a really smart superhero saving a GMod server from a Chrisaster exploit, the scene it up to your imagination!

Your job is to make a Rube Goldberg Device which is a contraption or device that uses Newton's Laws of Motion to perform simple tasks, from turning on a light to toasting bread. You're to Gmod-inize it by having it perform a task, anything is possible. Most creative device may just end up with a special prize.

It's the 2nd birthday of Garry's Mod. In celebration, we are having a quick one day challenge: Make a birthday party scene in Garry's Mod.

Yup, Left 4 Dead content can already be loaded right into Garry's Mod!

The purpose of this challenge is to see what creative stuff YOU can make with the Game's models, be it a zombie slaying scene or a tea party with the Tank!

Currently Garry's Mod does not have the ability to automatically mount the game's content, so you can find some download links to download the models in this news post.

A quick-fire challenge with a Halloween theme.

Get to it!

Make a picture showing a scene in a cafeteria or bar.

Whether it's the Mos Eisley tavern scene or some kind of bar brawl where Kleiner gets a chair in his head is up to you. But try to be creative.

Make a picture of someone fishing in some way and perhaps getting a little bit more than they bargained for.

Weigh anchor and put the oars in the rollocks! Yes, it's time for ye scurvy bilge rats to produce a picture of a GMod sea battle.

Build yourselves a ship! Use models! But whatever you do, create a nautical scene of some description where there's some sort of fighting.

I'm going to give you two weeks for this one so you can actually take your time as this one's more likely to involve some serious contraption-building.

What are you waiting for?

OK. Some of us can't help it and some of us will do one on purpose.

It's time to get busy and make the most ridiculous facepose you can.

Oh, and by the way, we know the TF2 models spazz out on faceposes so it's kinda not original or funny.

We're looking for something that still looks like a face but is downright idiotic. Of course, this gives you the chance to do an awful pose as well. So let's see how bad you can be.

It's Garry's birthday in just two short weeks.

This challenge gives you a whole fortnight to come up with something amusing, heartwarming, sycophantic or otherwise celebratory for the anniversary of the day Garry came screaming and snarling into the world.

So, get to work! And make it impressive... Something with a random table in gm_construct with a Portal cake on it and badly posed ragdolls isn't going to win.

OK, let's have some pictures of a suitably heroic last stand against overwhelming odds.

Use any characters you like, but try to put it in a map that creates a sense of drama rather than "OMG LOL I'm gonna Dieee!!1!!1" in gm_construct.

Whoops! Forgot it's Easter weekend coming up so now you've two challenges to keep you busy over the weekend hols.

Please bear in mind that nailing a random ragdoll to two beams made into a cross in gm_construct and going ape with the blood spray is getting really old now so we're looking for something a bit more original on an Easter theme.

Gratuitously awful crucifictions will just be deleted.

Simple enough. Break out the no collide tool cos it's drive thru time.

Anything goes here in terms of maps/characters as long as someone's in a car or other wheeled vehicle as part of the scene.

Winners should be directed at pics for originality and actually looking like the characters are in the car.

The poor hostages get a bum deal.

More often than not they get shot or blown up as they bumble around after you as you lead them skilfully into the crosshairs of a waiting Terrorist camper.

One thing's for sure; they never get the upper hand.

Now, with the power of Garry's Mod you can create a touching scene where the hostages finally win out over the useless idiots leading them to their deaths or the evil masterminds bent on their murder.

Get to it!

It's time to create a scene using Portal maps, props and ragdolls.

It's OK to use the odd character from other games if relevant, but try to keep it in the Portal Universe. So no gm_construct unless you want your entry to be deleted!

Oh, and "The Cake is a lie!" is getting really old. Seriously! Think about it.

We've all wanted to do it.

Ever since he first appeared in Half-Life and was annoyingly impossible to shoot in any way we've all wanted to fill him in. He's the shadowy figure, the smug bastard, the man with the infuriating briefcase!

Now's your chance. It's up to you. Build a fiendish contraption or make an entertaining screenshot where he meets, or is about to meet, his demise in as entertaining or as grisly a fashion as your warped mind can conceive.

Make a themed screenshot in GMod that in some way captures the magic and romance of a Valentine.

A simple challenge, but it hasn't been done yet, so should be pretty inclusive to the newcomers.

So build a vehicle. You need to transport 5 melons.

This should be easy, so be different to stand out.

Well this could either be really good, or a total train wreck.

Construct something recently in the news, in GMod. You lose points if you have to stoop to using text to tell us what you're trying to show us.
